iPhone 12 with a large screen, flat edges, LiDAR, etc... + iOS 14 with widgets on the home screen, default apps, new call and Siri UI, etc...= 😍
2020 looks very promising for @Apple
iOS14 New Feature:
iOS 14 has a completely new and moved password manager. Now, it’s own section within Settings, includes Security Recommendations, and more.
iOS 14 can now analyze your headphones sound and automatically adjust the audio levels if it goes above a set decibel.
New Changes:
When setting up iOS 14, there are a number of new animations, new icons for the “Sign into your Apple ID” page, and a new Siri page reflecting the sphere from the new Siri UI.
@Apple says that widgets on #iOS14 should not be mini-apps, instead should provide users with glanceable information, personalized and customizable.
iOS and iPadOS 14 will now tell you when an app gains access to your clipboard. This became a hot topic of discussion last year, and now @Apple has addressed it.
iOS 14 completely redesigns Game Center making it easier to play and compete against friends and family in supported games.
Safari has built-in translation, now when visiting a website other than the one in your default language, the app will notify you that translation is available in the Search bar. The option to translate is available in the menu.
Safari on iOS 14 will give you a “Tracking Report” with detailed information on potential trackers for the website you are visiting, plus, new information on “Intelligent Tracking Prevention”.
iOS14 New Settings:
iOS 14 allows you to customize where new app downloads go, whether to your homescreen and App Library, or only App Library under a new settings page. Additionally, you can enable/disable notification badges for App Library.
iOS 14 allows you to tap the back of your #iPhone in order to do custom actions. You can even set it up to open custom Shortcuts.
It also works extremely well from our testing on beta 1.
The menu for selecting different output devices for your phone calls has been redesigned, now smaller and much cleaner.
Messages on iOS 14 now lets you pin conversations at the top. If a contact is typing, you’ll get an indicator. If it’s a group chat, you’ll also see the Memoji of who sent the last few messages.
